Easy, just combine a small bottle of ketchup with a couple of tablespoons of fresh horseradish, a couple of teaspoons of worchester sauce and a couple teaspoons of lemon juice.

I can go even easier. ketchup and mayo! Although a dash of lemon helps. Never heard of horseradish in it?

I've also heard of mixing salad cream and tomato puree but that sounds a bit too sickly to me.

Ketchup and mayo make Thousand Island dressing, not true cocktail sauce. Add in a few chopped pickles and onions and you have salad dressing.

Looks like a poor mans version of Cajun Remolade Sauce, minus all the spices that make life worth living.

Another dressing for shrimp and seafood is Remolade Sauce.

1 cup Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chopped onions
1 tablespoon chopped celery
1 tablespoon chopper parsley
1 tablespoon horseradish
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 cup salad oil
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon tabasco
