    Default Molten lava cakes

i know you guys laugh at paula but this is pretty good. made the following modifications:

    1. omitted orange liqueur
    2. used unsweetened instead of bittersweet chocolate
    3. used a few spoonfuls less sugar.

i made the batter ahead of time and spooned it into the ramekins. put them into the fridge until i was ready to bake. let them sit out ~15 minutes before baking. didn't invert the ramekins before serving since i am a lazy sack. hope you guys like this.

    6 (1-ounce) squares bittersweet chocolate
    2 (1-ounce) squares semisweet chocolate

    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
    3 large eggs

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 tablespoons orange liqueur

Grease 6 (6-ounce) custard cups. Melt the chocolates and butter in the microwave, or in a double boiler. Add the flour and sugar to chocolate mixture. Stir in the eggs and yolks until smooth. I like it just as it is-not something you'd have every day. Sounds a treat.

I agree, I think I will make this for hubby's birthday or Valentine's day. Thanks for the recipe!

One of my very favorite things! If I ate them as often as I'd like I would weigh 200 lbs.
