Default Lani's Protein Snacks.

Okay so I made these today and they turned out really well. They're perfect to quench that niggling need for a snack, or for after a work out. I just got sick of the boring protien bars in the store. They left a wickedly bad aftertaste and they just didnt seem, well, healthy. I'll just list what I used but the quantities and whats actually there can change from person to person. They turned out really yummy too.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of rolled oats (I used Porridge oats)
Serving size of protien shake powder (i used musashi's strawberry shake mix)
half a banana
handfull of blueberries
2 teaspoons of greek yogurt
half a teaspoon of honey
a little bit of water.

Put into a food processor and blend. Not too much though as you still want some crunch of the oats in it.

You can either put the mix into a tin, I used a shallow muffin tin. Freeze whichever you use. It wont freeze solid - more like the consistancy of creamy frozen yogurt. Cut up the tin moulded mix into squares. If you do my route you should have nice serving sized peices.

That sounds really nice. I love oats and honey (manuka) and greek yogurt so might try this soon!
