I do okay with Prescriptives - I like that I can match my skintone precisely.

Chanel's Teint Naturale. In Alabaster. It's the best color match for me because it's pale and pink-toned, all the others I try come out yellowy no matter what. It's great coverage, too. Expensive as HELL, though!

I don't know why people freak over Great Lash. My lashes suck, they're short and skinny and need something major, not just coloration. This just doesn't cut it. I like Lancome's Hypnose or Fatale, or YSL's Volume Cils. If I go drugstore, Maybelline's Volume Blast or a couple of the L'oreal ones are fine. I need volume, people!

I have very oily skin and do just fine with Bare Escentuals. I do have to touch up with the mineral veil often though.

*squeel* how are you getting on with that? I bought some in a 3 for 2 offer recently (I change my mascara every 6 mths). I'm using XXL Curl Power at the moment....

Grey - that mineral veil is amazing! I finally used it last weekend and it was great! It didnt make my dryish skin look flakey either!

I like it. It's formulated for length not volume, so if you need volume you probably want to go with the Define-A-Lash in the pink tube.

I didn't have a problem with it, I just get bored with mascaras every few months and want to try something new.

Cool that sounds just what I need!
I have a treatment to get them to grow, but a little length is good! (I have falsies for volume!)

As far as mascaras go, I just started using Cover Girl's Lash Blast in the big orange tube, and I think it works great on my pathetic lashes. Has anyone ever tried the Rimmel mascara with the cool looking brush? I've been wondering how well that one works.
I have, and it's definitely one of my favorites. TBH, it's probably the best thing Rimmel has to offer. I like the new brush because it sort of combs your lashes as you apply the mascara, so they don't look clumpy at all. Meanwhile, it lengthens them beautifully.

What type of treatment do you use if you don't mind me asking? Does it work?
I've tried to use falsies, but I'm always afraid the glue won't be strong enough to hold them on right, so I don't keep them on for very long.
I have long eyelashes, but I've thought about getting eyelash extensions anyway, just to make them even thicker and longer.

i used Ardell brow & lash growth accelerator; plus when I put my lashes on I used Ardell "permanent" glue so that they stay on for a few days. I tend to use "short" lashes for a natural look, that just adds "umph".
I've never got them to stay on for the 2 weeks as advertised.....

I had a friend who got her falsies to stay on for 2 weeks, but you could see massive clumps of glue on her eyes, and that is definitely NOT appealing. I think getting eyelash extensions is pretty inexpensive from what I've heard, and I think it lasts like 3 months or something like that. Still, I don't like people going near my eyes.

There is no one in this area that does them, thats why I got my own glue...
Maybe I should go on a course and start doing them? LOL! Corner the market in this area - so to speak....

^Think of all the money you could make. I was researching them online not long ago, and I guess there's a company that trains their technicians and certifies them before they work on anyone. I assume they do it online, that would be the only feasible way.
