I've seen this advertised here in Australia - only on the TV advertisements where you ring and they send it.

How much is it in America? It's like $79.00 Australian Dollars here

This informercial freaks me out. The people sand away at their scaly feet and then neatly dump the flakes out onto a black dish... it's disgusting.

I use one on my eternally dry heels and it works pretty well although I prefer to soak my feet in warm water for a few minutes first. It's more comfortable and you seem to remove more.

Oh my god. That is so cheap, it would probably equate to around $15.00 AUD! The actual price here is 3 x $19.95 + $9.95 shipping (ad was just on!). You get two ped eggs and a pedicure tool set, but I have no need for two or a bunch of tools I have no idea how to use and there is no option to just get one.I might have a look around on ebay and see if I can get one.

I have one and it hurts my feet. I don't know if it's because my feet aren't that rough to begin with, but I have had to stop using it.

Based on your review, I think I'll try it! Thanks!

I have to put our review here and revive this dead thread.

My husband works standing up all day long and his feet were horrible with calluses all over. He had THICK calluses everywhere for 10 years and the sides of his big toes had calluses on them that looked like weird skin growths. His heels were cracked as well.

Anyway, they scratch me in bed and he has always been embarrassed about them, but didn't know what to do to get rid of them.

I remembered this thread and last week bought the pedegg and spent TWO HOURS straight grating his feet for him. I'm a good wife, right?!

His feet were 95% better, but still a little dry and the heels were stick kind of cracked. Also his feet were sore and pink in some areas from the 2 hour grating. So I went back to the store the next day and bought Sally Hansen's nighttime heel repair ointment and a pack of Sally Hansen's heel wraps. I spread the ointment all over the bottom of his feet and put extra ointment on the heels and old bad callus areas, then I put the heel wraps on and thin cotton socks over his feet (and heel wraps). I've been doing this for 4 days now and his feet look and feel freaking great!!!!

The pedegg is amazing and the Sally Hansen heel repair products are amazing as well! I HIGHLY recommend them. Seriously, if you saw my husband's before and after feet, you would be shocked. His feet feel like newborn baby feet now.

He's my guinea pig, I'm trying to think of my next experiment I can use him for. He does pay me back by doing extra chores and massaging my feet while I take care of his feet.

^^ that's so cute! You are a good wife.

How does the Ped Egg compare to these things that they use in nail salons? Mr. Pumice - Mr. Pumice Lil' Pumi Pumice Bar

I've been using this in the shower and it seems to do the job okay.

We tried that before too. It works on my feet because I have minor calluses, but it did nothing for his. I would say pedegg could be for minor stuff and serious calluses like my husband's, but a pumice works great for people like me!

I keep wanting to try the pedegg, but then I wouldn't have a reason to go to the salon for a pedicure.

I think I'll pick one up and see how well it works.
