I bought one at Walgreens. I over did it the first time, and had some
tender spots for a while. It works great, doesn't hurt
while you do it and there's no mess or skin dust being kicked
up like with a file.

Add me to the list that wants one. The shavings do look gross, but no worse than my toenail clippings(my feet gross me out!)

My feet are surprisingly soft, I had a pedicure a few months ago and the pedicurist remarked on it. I don't really pay much attention to my feet TBH, I occasionally buff them but I don't need to really. I've never been blighted with calluses or anything. Lucky me.

I might try this because I am really ticklish and don't like people touching my feet. I think it's really an uncomfortable feeling, and I would rather do it myself.

I would rather do it myself as well. I always scrub my feet in the shower so I really don't see the need to use a human parmesan grater... it kind of grosses me out.

I have a complaint about the Ped-Egg now.
It becomes dull very quickly, and for the money, I'd think
they could have put in a replacement or two. I probably
won't spend another ten dollars on one.

I use something similar to this, it makes me feet soft and not gross looking in sandals.

I've seen the ads on tv and I was a little curious about this 'egg' but never ran to stores looking for it.
So I saw it in my WalMart today for $13.99CAD, bought it, tried it tonight and I LOVE IT!
It was effortless, not messy and so quick. I was REALLY surprised cos I'm used to filing my feet for what seems hours on end.
I highly recommend it.
pedicures: yes, i have tried pedicures but stopped after I mysteriously got a nail infection which took months and annoying treatments for over 1/2 yr to go away (I don't think salons are that hygenic). And they're expensive over time too!
pumice stones: naaa, in the shower in the morning, when I'm all wet and trying to lean on the side just to get my feet done isn't practical when I'm rushing
callous shavers: they're not too appealing when I have my feet soaking in the bath, waiting for my skin to soften, then have to stick my hand at the bottom of the tub to unplug, trying to get through all those slug-like skin shavings. Plus I went too hard on one spot and it hurt for a little while.
I was actually doing the Ped Egg when I was watching tv and I'm still dry, without an achy arm!!

I actually use a hand-held wood sander called "The Mouse" on my feet:
It is quick, painless, and my feet have never looked better!
