I'm not using it as a break out control, although it would work for that. I have very oily skin, I get clogged pores and blackheads. This eats up all the extra oil- I haven't had to use any mattifying products since I started the peels 4 weeks ago, really clears my blocked pores, makes my blackheads much less, and my pores smaller. I've been getting it done once a week, and will do it for 8 weeks. Then no peels for 1 month, then I'll start again. I started to see a reduction in oil after the first peel, and a real difference in pore size by peel three.
Thanks for the info. My skin is so embarrassing.

^^What about the good old aspirin mask? It's dirt cheap - just water and aspirin. What's the difference between that and the salicyclic acid peel, Witch?

I use organic, unrefined Argan oil and occasionally unrefined avocado oil as part of my skincare routine. Both work great.

I'm not attached to any particular brand - I just buy online at the best price possible.

I'm big into aldis Lacura q10 Restorative Cream... But I hear you guys can't get it over there, so I'm gonna recommend Palmers Cocoa Butter - Firming Butter. Smells fab & makes my skin soft & it might help you new moms who are getting into shape too...

This shit. Zaps most zits overnight... some take 2 nights. Dries out easily stressed skin and it's a bit pricey but it really works.

I loved it. Smelled like ass, though.

The concentration of the acid is much higher in the peels. I tried aspirin masks, but for my skin they never really made a difference (I know for some people they do). Neither did any of the salicylic products with the available over the counter strength of 2%. My first peel was at 15%, now I've moved up to 25%.

Witch Hazel. Good old fashioned bought it for a dollar at the Dollar General Witch Hazel. I swipe my face with it once after I am out of the shower, and once before bed after washing my face, and it keeps my skin clear.

I also use it on my bikini area and under arms after shaving and it keeps ingrowns and razor rash from occurring.

I have very problem skin, and have used every cream and concoction I have heard of, and this is the best.

My pedicurist says to make a paste out of asprin and lemon juice - slather it on wherever you need it. It is supposed to work well. I haven't tried it.
