Clear winter here. Neutrals and pastels make me look like the living dead warmed over a couple of times.

And to contribute, I am digging oils these days to target-moisturize my skin rather than creams and lotions---I like Tarte Maracuja Oil --the rollerball just feels awesome-- and have used a lot of argan oil for hair/body. Using Marula Cleansing Lotion to wash, removes makeup completely without leaving skin dry. For my pink-toned fair skin, Dr. Jart Renewalist BB Cream is the shit as far as foundation. I've never found anything that felt so smooth gliding on and is a great match despite having only one choice of color! Am really liking Algenist's products for moisturizing and pretty much every skincare need.

I will have to try the Too Faced mascara. My lashes suck total ass, and I need the most dramatic, volumizing mascara in the whole world. All the new ones I try tend to disappoint, and I go back to my mainstays: YSL Faux Cils (which dries out way too quickly) and Lancome Hypnose.

LOVE Better Than Sex mascara. Got a sample from Sephora and immediately bought the full-sized product. Rimmel used to be my go-to, but Two-Faced blew it away.

Yeah, I was a little hesitant to buy it at first bc I was originally looking for a cheaper alternative to Diorshow, and Better than Sex wasn't really cheaper. After I tried it, however, it was worth it. So much better than Diorshow and all the other mascaras I've tried.

I'm a summer. I don't agree with all the variations so I just go up or down in depth as needed. There is one yellow that you might be able to wear and it's a light lemon yellow. It looks surprisingly good.

I am apparently a Clear Winter. But again, I have green eyes so I was sort of shunted into that, but the colours do seem to make sense to me. My veins look both blue AND green though?

    MAKE UP FOR EVER
    Lift Concealer

I haven't tried the above yet, but I will.
Bobbi Brown Corrective Spot Treatment SPF 25

Just got this and it's so far the best concealer/corrector for me. Creamy and you can work it into the skin. I'm not happy with the stickier pot concealer's anymore because my skin is too dry. It's time for a deep cleansing spa facial after winter and it usually makes my concealer and foundation go on smoothly and look dewy.

I still love the Armani Silk Foundation the best. Mascara is still Voluminous and Dior Show.

Just bought this - Mac Sweetie. Creamy, semi sheer pink, build-able.

I think I'm liking Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner more than my usual Mac pencil eyeliner. Everything needs to be creamier with the aging thing happening!

^^Oh, I like that Mac color.

I just started using a hyaluronic acid serum on my face and I've noticed quite a difference.

    Love Dior's skin care.

This is a basic product but I switched to Redken's super soft (?) shampoo and conditioner. My hair feels totally different after using it just once. It'd ridiculously soft and smooth.

    This cleanser is super,

These SUPERCHEAP lipmarkers of KIKO milano are amazing. They are like felt tips, so easy to use, they do not run and last forever. I normally buy only red and I bought the pink by mistake, gave it to my mother and now she is hooked as well

First thing I buy ,when I get off my coconut island again, will be Two faced better then sex mascara and shimmer lights shampoo

I'm really liking the "Sweetie" lippie too - might have to try it.

Keep in mind, any time some "designer" oil is advertised, you can likely buy a no-name brand for MUCH cheaper at a health food store or natural cosmetics store. TJ Maxx and Marshalls are another good source of buying no-name oils that are the SAME THING only about $10/bottle instead of $40 or $50. I use all kinds of oils and I found a maracuja oil that's way cheaper than Tarte - same as not having to spend a boatload for Josie Maran's argan oil products, when a generous size of generic (and just as effective) argan oil can be had for about $10/bottle, and the bottle is larger.

I'm so dry that I love oil products. I use a oil cleanser on my face and I swear by it. Actually, I use two. I used to exclusively use Shu Uemura until they went 100% online. I used to pick it up at their store or Nordstrom. Now, I found another oil cleanser by Philosophy. Smells the same and works great.

When I was pregnant, I used Bio-Oil to help prevent stretch marks. I didn't get one. Not even a tiny one. I've heard that's genetic, but who knows. I have a huge bottle of it and use it on my feet when they get a bit dry between pedicures.

    I really like that color!

Gel eyeliners really are the shit once you get used to them. I prefer a straight stick applicator rather than a brush as I find it easier...

I have been having a massive rosacia outbreak, my skin has even been objecting to moisturiser, to specialist creams, the lot. My fave has been burning red, too.
I eventually tried some Missha Bb cream that I bought ages ago & hadn't really worn/tried/etc (i don't wear a lot if make up inc foundation). I was hoping that as it had all that Bb stuff in it that it would help. Wow it did! Helped it to calm down, I was obviously still pink but it's helping to heal the acne that comes with a flare up. Good to know since this appears to be the worst flare I've ever had.

I had a manhattan at dinner on 4/25 and my cheeks are in the final stages of recovery. I'd slacked off on using my usual topicals and I should know better. Anyway, when I get my face super pissed I slap on sulfur ointment, I use de la Cruz, cheap and comes in a little tub, I put it on like a mask for about 20 minutes, very calming when my face is hyper pissed.
