This sounds like something I won't be using any time soon. I hate that clumpy look.

It's just AWFUL. Is Paula getting paid or something? Lancome Definicils is the best mascara I've ever used, but Cover Girl's Lash Exact comes pretty close, and is a much better option IMO (you really shouldn't use the same tube of mascara for more than three months, and Lancome is way too expensive to do that).

How many new tricks or formulas can they possibly come up with? Every new mascara says it does the same damn thing the last one did.

It's like soap.. first it was normal, then all stripey, then full of moisturizers, then everyone switched to body wash, then those got ribbons, or beads.. it all does the same crap.

Try wearing mascara for a while, Grimmy. If you switch around the brands you use for a while, you can tell there's a real difference between most (i.e., some are clumpy, others tend to run, some give your eyelashes a better "lift", some irritate your eye, etc.)

I like Lancome's Definicils a lot, and I'm really enjoying the DiorShow mascara I treated myself to last week.

I tend to like Maybelline mascaras, although the particular one discussed in this thread was revolting. I've tried more expensive brands, but always tend to go back to Maybelline. I've been using Lash Stylist for at least 6 months (the one with the comb applicator instead of a brush) and really like it.

You might like it Edie. I've used Lancome definicils quite a bit, and this is similar in that it goes on clean, without clumps.

I just use Maybelline's classic Green and pink bottle, does just the fix!
You use an oil-based eye makeup remover to take it off.
