I realized yesterday that Cover Girl is apparently "streamlining" their line and discontinued the pressed powder shade I use for touch-ups. They're keeping some of them, but discontinued their lightest shade for oily/combination skin. It took me forever to find that powder because I'm hard to match. *sigh*

OPI discontinued some nail polish shades I adored.

Bath and Body Works discontinued my all time favorite scent of theirs: Ylang-Ylang Myrrh Sensual scent. They tend to discontinue every scent I've ever really liked starting with Happy Daisy.

There was a company that made a clear foundation - Almay, maybe? that I used to wear. It didn't add any color, it just smoothed the skin. I have the sort of skin color that no matter what shade of foundation you use, it looks 'wrong'. This clear stuff was the best, and sure enough it was gone before long.

Estee Lauder Uncircle concealer. I'm vampire pale and have that bluish tint under my eyes...this stuff worked great. It was heavy and in a little gold pot. You only needed a dab and it lasted all day.

    Avon has this:

A magical air-light gel-powder colorless formula that makes all skin tones look flawless... invisible coverage; instant perfection. Banish shine up to 10 hours. Apply evenly before sun exposure or as needed. 1 fl. oz.

Philosophy also has a clear foundation, called "The Present". I bought a travel size at TJ Maxx and it's pretty darn good for smoothing out the face without adding color. I use it with a tinted moisturizer.

Is clear foundation a "primer" or a separate thing?

That stuff is awesome! You can apply it at 7 am and by 5 pm, you're make-up looks like you just put it on.

What the hell has happened to Max Factor cosmetics. I miss the pancake makeup.

Clear makeup is colorless foundation. I guess theoretically, if you have fabulous skin and just want it smoothed out a bit, you could use the clear stuff alone. Some of us need a bit of coverage.

I just went to their website and saw where they're not being sold in the U.S. anymore. News to me. Their 2000 Calorie mascara was pretty awesome as I recall.

Thanks for the heads up on Avon. I have a family member that sells it and may just get some of that.
