Yeah, NYC is fairly easy to find. You can buy it at Wal Mart if you're willing to chip a piece of your soul away to the corporate monster that is WM for a cheap-o lippie.

Target has it, and most chain drugstores should.

I'd rather drink sewer water than shop at WalMart so Tarzhay it is.

Laurent's a makeup lover. She said Lippies.

That cherry looks like a good color.

Guilty! I love lip color, even though I don't think my lips are one of my best features. Sometimes I wonder if I don't look like I'm channeling Bette in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane.

I'm liking it the color a lot. It stayed on forever, too.

I bought a couple of Benefit lipsticks yesterday. One is a blue-based dark cherry color (sheer). Looks great.

I went on Makeup Alley and the reviews for NYC products weren't that great. Plus, they test on animals, which is a dealbreaker for me.

    ^^ That's not good.

Most of their lipstick reviews I looked at were pretty good, and Chalet's Retro Red was 88%, but I admittedly didn't look thru all of them or the other products. I guess for 99 cents, you sometimes get what you pay for.

^^Yeah, but I wouldn't have known any of it if I hadn't gone to Makeup Alley. I've switched to all-organic skincare, and am inching my way toward organic cosmetics, but there are a few things I'm not sure I can give up. I love Dior, Chanel and Lancaster, when I can afford them.

I fucking love Make Up Alley! Regardin NYC; I was unaware they tested on animals... that's a bigger deal breaker than fat fingers (OMG I'm perpetuating a meme...) I like to get their clear glosses and ad my MAC pigment powders to them and call it The Glossy Gloss!
