Good to know. Might invest in one. How does it work? Do you need special soap?
Use any cleanser you want. I have been using coconut oil soap in bar form lately. It's from a soap maker on Ebay. It only has a few ingredients. I must say my skin has been loving it.

I have god awful rosecea and everything bugs my skin, but I've used DHC Olive Oil Cleanser for years, mostly when I travel and at night. But my regular (own everything under the sun) is Eminesence, which I'm a little obsessed with. Anyone else with rosecea, I have finally found something that really helps - Aloe Vera supplements. A couple of shots a day has had an amazing calming affect.

I purchases some Hyaluronic Acid Serum and it has been a godsend. My skin is finally starting to glow again. I did some exfoliation and starting using the hyaluronic acid and a sensitive skin cream by Eucerin and everything is so much better. I'm going to check out the Clarisonic sale now.

Have you ever tried IT Cosmetics (they have a skin care line now too). The owner has rosacea and kind of built her whole line around hiding and calming redness. Their Bye Bye Redness (it's like a spot or full on foundation) is awesome, I just can't use it because of the awful shade range.

I use Mario Badescu. Been using this cleanser for ages and have never changed. I've tried other moisturizers and now I've returned to all things Mario.

Take a look at the website and go through each product to see what you'd like it to do. I recommend his eye creams and his night moisturizers. Everything has the beneficial ingredients, the prices are great and I'm moisturized. I haven't yet but I should get the Vitamin C serum.

I also just started using The Ordinary serums. I got The Buffet and something else. I'm really into being frugal when it comes to skin care because I used a $600 regimen from a Swiss company (I won it) and it was like eh. I'm not expecting to have skin like a porcelain vase, I just want it to feel soft, moisturized and maybe even out the skin tone. I've gotten samples of Bobbi Brown, Lancome and Chanel moisturizers but I'd never buy them full size. I'm tired of commercial products. They're too scented or too greasy.

This product I tried for a few weeks and I loved it. But it's $100 dollars US. It smelled unusual but I like it. Your face is blue when you put it on, you go to sleep and in the morning your face is like buttah. Makeup slipped on in the morning.

The classic oil is still by Clarins. Clarins was doing oils 40 years ago. When it comes to skin care for mature skin I still believe in it being French, Italian and Swiss. I don't trust the Korean skin care, I think it's for kids.

Something that might work for you is adding a drop of Organic Rose Hip Oil to your night time moisturizer.
$10 health food store or The Ordinary.

I love DHC! It's just so expensive unfortunately.

Eta that Luna oil looks amazing. I am so tempted.....

The Sunday Riley Luna has been getting RAVE reviews from a lot of YouTubers I watch. There's another one from that line that's also getting lots of airtime, but I can't remember the name.

I think it's called Good Genes. I forgot what it does. The Luna oil was really different. It's a retinol and the first few times it tingles. That one for some reason made my skin look and feel good. Get a sample from Sephora.

YES, Good Genes! I'll have to check out the tester and how clean it is.

I bought Sunday Riley's AutoCorrect. It's hard to tell because I'm using three different eye creams, but if it's just the combo ... wow, not even kidding, 10-15 years younger and my makeup stays flawless all day with this stuff. I don't use it every time, it's so ridiculously expensive, especially when you add in the other two under eye products.

Right now I'm trying the Korean skin routine.
It sounds scary with its 10 steps but actually you don't have to do them every day twice a day. Hopefully, otherwise I'd never do

I started that because recently my skin did show signs of ageing (or signs of me being tired out of my socks) and I thought well, I'm 34 it's time I do something more than coconut oil
I'll see if my skin feels rejuvenated after a month or so

I have the oily t-zone and redness on my nose and cheeks and lately my eyelids. What joy. Anyway, I have been using Phace serum for about a month now. I am loving it. It has seriously calmed the redness.

I ordered some Elemis Marine Oil. I keep hearing how wonderful Elemis is. Does anyone here use this line?

For anti-aging (specifically preventative), I absolutely swear by Biotherm's Skin Vivo line. When I was a cosmetician, I used to go to training classes for a wide variety of brands. When you'd leave the class, you were given full sized products that were discussed in the class. It gave me the chance to try a ton of brands. While Arden's Prevage line is phenomenal, it's incredibly expensive.
Skin Vivo is a bit of an investment still, but the products last a long time and absolutely work.

With my family, we have pretty good genes to begin with on both sides of the family We tend to age well. Having said that, in my immediate family it tends to be our under-eye area that shows age first. That's where we start to show lines first. I started using the Skin Vivo eye when I was 26. I'm now about to turn 34 and my under eye area is better than my siblings' under-eye areas were when they were in their late 20s.

This is a somewhat recent picture, taken in my room without any filtering or fancy lighting. Just mah face while smiling... and barely a line. Not much makeup.

Years ago, I got a facial on a cruise & they used the Elemis products. I got a few samples of it & loved it. But I couldn't bring myself to buy it because of the price.
