Monistat Anti-Chafing Gel as a foundation primer?
I know this sounds so weird. I was researching primers and came across this recommendation at a couple of make-up boards. People swear by it. I watched a couple of Youtubes that think it's great too. It's not medicinal. It supposedly dries to a powdery smooth finish and makes your make-up last for hours. So I ordered some online. Has anyone else tried it? Can't beat the price at $7 a tube.
I'll let you all know how it turns out. I have to wonder why the first person to use it as a primer put that stuff on their face?

I'd imagine if it's for delicate chaffing skin, then it wouldn't hurt your face.

i'm guessing (not having seen the ingredients list) that it probably contains things like silicones or maybe even silicia. that will give you a smooth powder base.

It can't be any worse for you than slapping hemorrhoid cream of your face.

I dare not ask how you've come to put monistant on your face, but if it works well and doesn't irritate the skin, then by all means use it.
