No, it reminds me of a cheese grater.
And ew to the callus shavings.

I've not used it but I've seen rave reviews of this thing elsewhere on the 'net.

I have one and have used it a couple times. It has made my feet smoother, it's decreased some really bad calluses I had, but hasn't gotten rid of them completely. Also, that whole thing about the dead skin shavings being totally contained inside the egg? Not quite true. Most stay in, but I also get quite a bit of leakage out of the file while using it. It isn't a big deal, only slightly gross, I just throw down a towel before I use it.

No way it makes my skin crawl thinking of this cheese grater scraping my flesh off.

I only use a foot file in the shower. I'd never do it dry. The best thing for me to use everyday is the rough sponge like they use in the nail salon.

I've never filed my feet before, the feel of those pummice stones makes me feel abit funny, like when people scratch a blackboard, if you know what I mean, I thought the ped egg looked quite good as it didn't make me feel queasy.
Chalet- A pummice sponge, so does that feel nicer than the stones?

I have used that sort of thing before and they are wonderful. I don't find it gross at all. What I do find gross is women or men in sandals with those icky heels!!

I plan to buy a Ped Egg the next time I see one.
I currently use a callus shaver with a real deal razor blade.
The Ped Egg looks much safer with less chance of a scary mishap.

I think they also have them at CVS drugstores, if you have that chain in your neck of the woods.
