I use Laura Mercier primer for my face and UD for my eyes.

Smashbox primer is CRAP.

My daughter loves smashbox primer. She gets oily during the day without it. Would love to find something that is cheaper.

Default primers

I've been using Revlon Age Defying primer and have noticed a difference... I have oily skin/ large pores and foundation tends to emphasize that. I noticed that application makes a big difference... I learned that you have to put it on and not blend it in like moisturizer, just let it sit on top of the skin... then give it a few minutes so it doesn't flake when you add foundation...

I use the MAC primer with spf of 50. It is pricey at $24 or $28 but it works. The sunscreen is really important to me but ut does keep that base looking fresh, fresh. I love that it isn't greasy at all.

SPF of 50? That just got my attention, since that has to be on my face. I've been using Eucerin that has SPF 30, and it would be nice to layer the moisturizer, SPF, and primer in one. Sounds good, especially since I need more help blending my white undereye concealer (yes, pure white) with the rest of my face. Now that I'm exhausted from giving cancer care full-time, my eyes are black/purple underneath, and I'm super Irish pale to boot, so the make-up routine has to change a bit to compensate for Teh Ugly.
