Hmm...I'm thinking about buying a new Dior eyeshadow quintet. All I want to do lately is spend money I don't have. Must be spring because I sure seem to have spring fever!

What's the advantage of the color in a pot as opposed to typical pressed powder?

Are you using it as liner also, and that's the advantage?

I noticed the "low rent" version of these shadows from L'Oreal in the HiFi series. The ads make the color and texture look just like the results from these pots.

It's the ease of application for me. It can just add a little brightness and it really stays on.

You can get more color pop with less effort. The colors are highly pigmented and don't crease like many cream shadows. They also can be used as a liner.

The creasing is a big problem for me.

I have only tried the Bobbi Brown pot eye shadow and I really like it. It stays on for a long time and it is easier to get it to "stick" than regular eye shadow.
