    Default H2O Steam Mops...anyone?

I actually sat down and watched one of those ridiculous infomercials and gosh.....this looks kinda cool. Its a mop with fabric pads that uses steam to clean the floors (even carpeting).

There are several different brands out there.

My question: Does anyone have one? Do you like it? Does it actually clean? Do you feel its a decent antibacterial mop also? Does it get deep down? Would you buy it again?

I'm torn: I really want one, yet don't want to spend the money to hate it.

I'm anxiously awaiting someone's answer cause I've watched the infomercial too and really want one. It's just a little more than I want to spend on an unknown.

I frequently look up ratings as-seen-on-tv products here (it's the reason I never bothered to buy one of those devices that are supposed to cool down your car):

Here's some reviews on the H20 Steam Mop:

I bought one about 3 years ago. It's been used twice with disappointing results. If you want an antiseptic floor use an ordinary mop with hot water and detergent. If you don't want to use chemicals, just a mop and hot water. Apart from anything else it's quicker.

PS Anyone want to buy a hardly-used, one careful owner, steam floor mop?
