    Default Copy cat perfumes 11-21-2007

Today I decided to test out Prada's "new" fragrance for women
Infusion D'iris. It smells EXACTLY like Chanel No5. I have been noticing a trend that makes me rather uncomfortable, copycat prefumes. Another example: Jlo's Live is 1 molecule away from Britney Spears' Fantasy. What gives?

    Anyone else notice this?

No. But now I'll have to go check!

I haven't noticed myself, but I also haven't been to the perfume department in ages. I'm shocked someone would have the balls to mimic Chanel no. 5! It's so identifiable!

How do they compare price wise?

    ^^$122 Chanel No5, 100ml
    $115 Infusion D'Iris, 100ml

Chanel seems to last longer, that or I've become used to the scent already.

Perfumes are like movies these days...seems like they are running out of ideas. I notice that some new perfumes smell exactly like some that I wore years ago.
