YSL touche eclat / radiant touch
Does anyone have this? And is it the miracle product everyone says it is? I need something for my dark undereye circles...and I'm not drinking hot water with lemon for a month! Any suggestions?

Re: YSL touche eclat / radiant touch
I've used this for about a year. It's good, but it's a highlighter, NOT a concealer. It gives light to the dark area and draws attention away from the flaws.
The only problem I have with it, and this started about a month ago, is if I use it every day, I get dry skin under my left eye. Not my right, just my left! I use a good moisturizer and undereye cream so I'm not sure why it's having this effect, but I still like the product.
It's expensive, but you only use a small amount and it's in the form of a pen so you can control how much you use. I've had the same pen for nine months, but it is time for a new one. Hope this helps.

Re: YSL touche eclat / radiant touch
ooh, I didn't realise it wasn't a concealer! Cheers chuck. So does it actually make your under eye area look less dark?
9 months is pretty good going - but that dry skin thing sounds a bit bizarre...hmm...maybe I'll shop around.

Yes, it works great as a concealer because it lightens the dark shadows so what you see is light. I use it on zits too. I usually put powder/foundation on first, then the Touche Eclat.
I think the dryness might be a result of using a bit too much product under that eye because my shadows are worst there!

Re: YSL touche eclat / radiant touch
I love, love, LOVE this concealer.
I have very dark circles (thanks, Dad.) It is very expensive, but like PB said, it does last. And actually, this is one of the only concealers that doesn't dry out my undereye area. And it doesn't cake up, atleast on me, and I apply a loose powder over it to set it.
I won't use anything else.

Re: YSL touche eclat / radiant touch
Hmm, that sounds pretty good to me. I have killer dark circles as well, and my main issues with concealers are: they either go on too sheer, and really don't eliminate the darkness at all or; they go on too heavily, and end up caking or drying out the area.
Maybe I'll give this one a try!

Ah, the skinflint in me took over and I bought a cheapo rimmel one for £3.50..I just used it and it has highlighted every fine line below my eyes - I look about 90! I think Touch Eclat is gonna be on my Xmas list!

i use it under my eyes after a heavy one! its fab and makes them look decent, but i always got told never put it onto your spots cos as its a highlighter it'll just make them stand out under the light whereas you wanna really bend them babys in!

I had the exact same problem when I used to use it. I don't know whether it was because I'd had it a couple of months but it looked really bad and I had to stop using it.

Yep I love this. It is my Holy Grail. I save up for it and use is sparingly. Love it.

I like it too, but as the others have said, used sparingly or you can get the JLo reverse panda effect. The other eye product I like is the Laura Mercier Eye Basics. Takes away shadows and discolouration and makes a good base for eyeshadow, especially pale colours.

OT WARNING: Be careful about the hot water and lemon thing. My cousin is a health freak and drinks a glass of water/lemon every day and her teeth are WRECKED. The acid from the lemon has rotted the enamel and turned them a lovely shade of mocca brown.

just use a straw and rinse your teeth after, then wait an hour and then brush.

Re: YSL touche eclat / radiant touch
At the YSL counter the lady told me that you put it at a diagonal close to the cheek bone on the outer part of your eye, so nowhere near where the darkest color is. I figure that you can use most any highlighter then.
