Clear Complexion Correcting Treatment ($11.69 for 1 ounce) is a 1% salicylic acid (BHA) treatment, but it has a pH of 5, which means it is ineffective for exfoliating skin or dislodging stubborn blackheads. Its only redeeming quality is the inclusion of retinol, backed up by opaque, airless packaging that will keep it stable. As a retinol product for normal to slightly oily or slightly dry skin, this is recommended. If you're looking for an effective BHA product, consider those from my line or try Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Face Lotion ($7.99 for 1.7 ounces).

I found Begoum's product reviews more honest when she wasn't pushing her own products.

I haven't used this Aveeno product, but in general have found their products to be good value for their reasonable price. I especially like the facial scrub and body lotion. The scrub is very gentle and the kernels used are small and much less damaging to the skin than a lot of more expensive scrubs.
