Default Maybelline - XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara Waterproof Reviewed

Maybelline New York

XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara Waterproof ($5.89) is a waterproof--and it is tenaciously waterproof--version of Maybelline New York's original XXL Microfiber Mascara. It's a dual-sided product: one end is a lash primer and the other a lengthening mascara. As usual, when testing this I applied the primer and mascara combination to one set of my eyelashes and used just the mascara on the other. The mascara alone produced copious length and beautifully defined, clump-free lashes. Paired with the primer, the mascara was more difficult to apply, did not lengthen as well, and tended to wear unevenly. That makes the primer a waste, but luckily Maybelline has other mascaras with great performance.

I'm not big on mascara. Too much room for error and smudging. But Maybelline generally has good products. I like their Velvet Black eye pencil.

There are some reviews of Kiss Me here: http://www.ciao.co.uk/Reviews/Blinc_...scara__5319354

They're pretty positive. I'm intrigued!

I'm a voluminous girl...have been for years. Big fat eyelashes that look real.
