Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick ($14) goes on quite thick and feels considerably more greasy than creamy. It has a glossy finish and comes in an attractive selection of shades seemingly based on best-sellers from Clinique's vast lipstick library--but this will bleed into lines around the mouth almost as soon as you apply it, and its longevity is cut short by the extra-emollient formula. It isn't a bad lipstick by any means, just one to approach with caution if you're prone to lipstick feathering and/or want long-lasting color. Those without this problem but with chapped lips should stop by the Clinique counter to explore this lipstick!
