Oh FFS - are gullible women now being told by the pregnancy nazis that foundation will KILL their babies? No doubt there's a cosmetics company out there ready to market a "pregnancy safe" foundation for twice the usual price which the hormonal suckers will happily pay.

I ended up wearing a lot less makeup while pregnant (could go completely without it if I wasn't going anywhere special) because my skin looked awesome, lol! But when I did wear it, I didn't fret about it. I use a lot of natural products anyway but I wear Stila foundation because it's the best I've tried.
I dunno, my kids don't seem like total tards, but it could be too soon to tell...

( reply to A*O) You make a fine point, no one has ever been pregnant before, so it's important to avoid, well, everything. I recommend the Bubble Boy treatment. A hermetically sealed chamber should be de rigour.

I gave up foundation while pregnant but no way was I giving up meth and crack.
I prefer Sheer Cover BTW.

To be fair, there are people out there - usually with vested interests - who find new ways to make women even more paranoid and scared than they already are because pregnancy these days is regarded as a disease, not a perfectly natural process our bodies are (mostly) perfectly adapted to deal with. I'm a child of the 60s and my mother went through both her pregnancies smoking (somewhat), drinking (a lot), eating whatever the hell she wanted, wearing tranny-level makeup, high heels, etc because pregnancy wasn't such a Big Deal back then. I turned out OK [fuck off, I did]
