Clinique CX Soothing Cleanser Product Review

$$$ CX Soothing Cleanser ($35 for 4.2 ounces) doesn't provide much cleanser for the money, but it is indeed gentle and does contain soothing ingredients. Completely without detergent cleansing agents, it instead uses a blend of emollients, silicone, and plant oils to dissolve makeup. It does not contain any irritants (not even fragrant plant extracts), so it should be fine for dry to very dry skin that is also sensitive, easily irritated, or dealing with rosacea. The oils do not make this easy to rinse completely, so you may need a washcloth. A lighter, but still gentle, and considerably less expensive alternative to this cleanser is Clinique's Comforting Cream Cleanser ($16.50 for 5 ounces).

I recently switched to this from an Estee Lauder product and I like it much better, not mention it is cheaper than what I was using. My skin has never been so smooth and moist.
