Maybelline New York Intense XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara
Maybelline New York Intense XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara ($7.99) is similar to L'Oreal's Volume Shocking Mascara, but (despite the name) this is less intense. It involves a two-step process of base plus top coat, although--just like Maybelline's other XXL mascaras--the base coat makes little difference, assuming you're willing to apply two or three coats of the mascara itself. The best news is that whether or not you use the base coat, you'll get beautifully long, nicely separated, and moderately thickened lashes with absolutely no clumps. The formula wears well and removes easily, making for hassle-free work all around!

I use L'Oreal's Volume Shocking Mascara sometimes but it gives me racoon eyes... I usually use L'oreal Voluminous water proof.

Re: Maybelline New York Intense XXL Volume + Length Microfiber Mascara
I gotta have the waterproof. I'm an allergic person so my eyes will start watering randomly sometimes, if I ever put on regular mascara it ends up racooning or dripping down my face.

I love Maybelline's Full N' Soft, it's the mascara that I've paid the least for and the one that works the best for me.

Same here. I use it most often, but sometimes I use Almay Intense i-Colour Mascara in Emerald Green if I want my eyes too look more green (they are hazel naturally, but if I use the green mascara, it makes them look more green). I was really hesitant when I bought it at first, because, you know, it's green! But it is actually quite nice.

I use the eyeliner for green eyes. Didn't really like the eyeshadow, although my daughter uses the eyeshadow for blue eyes...I may try the mascara now....

I didn't like the eyeshadow so much either, it wasn't very good quality, and I found the dark green to be far too strong. Now I use Mac eyeshadow, and depending on what I'm wearing and how I feel I go with either plums or greens. But I really do quite like the mascara. At first you think like "Green? Wtf?" but it's quite dark so you don't notice it right away. And it hasn't really been bad at clumping at all for me either. I don't need to worry about achieving more length with mascara though because I have insanely long eyelashes anyway! I did also like the eyeliner though, and I still wear it on occasion!

Ok if it's waterproof, how the hell you expect me to wash this stuff off?!?
I just use Maybelline's classic Green and pink bottle, does just the fix!

It is thick and clumpy.

Exactly right. I bought some because Walgreens was doing a 2 for 1 sale. It was against my better judgment because my lashes are pretty long & thick already, but hey, why not? It is the clumpiest nastiest crap, and don't even think about using one of those little combs to tidy it up. I never opened the second one. I've heard people call mascara "bat shit" before, and if it were ever appropriate to do that, this would be the case.
Thumbs down, Zero stars, 1.5 out of a scale of 10, and Voted Off the Island.
