Paula's Choice - Any opinions?

Hi -

I'm thinking about giving some of Paula Begoun's products a try. Has anyone out there tried any of them? Did they work for you? Please include what type of skin you have (oily, combo, dry, etc.) in your response.

i got her 2% umm salicylic acid toner type thing...it sucked. last a nasty film and made my skin look really dirty somehow. also dried it out to no tommorow.

i wouldn't recommend her products for some reason.

I've tried her products, mostly the chemical exfoliators, and love them!! Right now, I use her "1% Beta Hydroxy Acid Gel " at night and her "Extra Care Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 30+ With Antioxidants" during the day.

If you haven't tried anything from her just yet, the first thing I would recommend buying is her book "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me, 6th Edition ". She's pretty fair analyzing most over-the-counter and department store skincare and makeup product ingredients and whether or not they work.

I do like reading Paula's reviews and tips - IMO her advice is quite useful.

I've tried the Hydrating Mask but I wasnt too impressed with the results.
