Well I had not kept up with this today, so I went and donated ten dollars..and then found out while reading the thread more that SJK had reversed the decision, but with more reading, they are full of it and lying so glad I donated. I did not see on the site where I could send the thank you note to anyone (the bitch karen Handel) though.?
3 million plus!
Yes to all of these
it was Evelyn Lauder who was a VP or something at the time at Estee Lauder.
my pink ribbon (which is on my shirt or purse most of the time usually starts up a conversation with people. I don't want anyone to go through what i went through (waiting a YEAR before checking out a lump) so if it starts up one conversation and sends that women to get checked, its done its job.
Well, the whore apples sure didn't fall far from the whore tree. Sylkyn
I didn't see the place for a thank you to her either,Soj. I donated straight to the chapter that covers Noth Texas, though.

Dear Buddha, please bring me a pony and a plastic rocket...
I just donated to my local chapter in Karen Handel's honor. It gives me malicious glee to think of her getting those notifications!
I applied for a job to work at PP when I was still living in DC. I was about 21 or 22 and the position was for a receptionist or jr. admin. My friend was an escort for PP and he loved it. He was a big, tall gay man and he loved to piss off the protesters. There were a lot of them on any given day. Anyway, during my interview, they basically told me that there were some scary things that happened there on a weekly, if not daily, basis. There were protesters, people that would actually make appointments for services and cause a huge disturbance once inside, bomb threats, etc. It was a pretty hostile environment, but the people were so nice and committed to what they were doing.
Hell....a finger in the ass is no big deal. I'll bet many more men than will admit are shocked as hell that it doesn't feel so bad.
Unless there's something really bad going on up there I'll bet my boobs are way more sensitive at least 1-2 weeks out of every month. And even if you catch them on a tough day it still hurts to get em squashed all to hell!
When they make men get their nuts squished in a similar manner then I'll feel sorry for the poor things. Also a good time to remind we get to take a speculum up the twat and get scraped yearly too.

I just donated $50 to PP in honor of Karen Handel.
When I was 20 or 21 years old and sexually active, I went to my mom's gyn for an exam. After the exam I asked for a prescription for the pill. The doctor refused, saying that she didn't believe in prescribing birth control to unmarried women. How incredibly irresponsible of this doctor! I was also completely humiliated and scared she would tell my mother. And I was a legal adult! I ended up at Planned Parenthood and had to have another vaginal exam and I was plenty pissed. PP had no problems, obviously with doing the RIGHT thing and giving birth control to a sexually active woman who wanted to prevent pregnancy. I remember it well even though it was over 20 years ago because I felt so powerless. Who was I to complain to?
What has come out about SGK Foundation in the last several days is appalling. The salaries the executives take, how little they actually give away as a percentage of their revenue, and the fact that there has in fact been NO progress toward a "cure" at all. The only function they serve as far as I can tell is to encourage women by putting emphasis on surviving. But they're in bed with the pharmaceutical companies who sell the chemo poisons and have NO incentive to cure breast cancer or any cancer for that matter because the treatment is a cash cow. SGK is just a big slush fund that pays extremely high salaries to its officers and does little good for women's health.
You have to watch this (sorry, I don't know how to embed). Linda is currently battling breast cancer, and this video, "What Cancer is, and is not!" and Linda are fricken awesome.

Several decades ago I went to an abortion clinic in Virginia. It was during a time when they had been threatening to bomb the various clinics down there. setting fires etc. So I had the procedure done with no anesthesia whatsoever so I could run out of the building if anything happened. It was very unpleasant. I don't understand why these people think the unborn are so much more important than the people who are already here. I too was shocked at many of the comments on the FB page.
