Default For all of you "do gooders"

I recently discovered that Ethos Water donates $.05 from every bottle of water sold to a fund that helps provide clean drinking water to children around the world. I had bought bottles of this water dozens of times before, but only recently actually read what it says on the bottle. I don't have tons of money to donate to important issues like this, but I'm glad that one of the products I buy does a little good. Did anyone else know about this?

That's the water they carry in Starbucks, right? That's good.

Another "do-good" company is Pedigree dog food. We buy bags online and donate it to a local shelter. Pedigree matches your donation and sends out the coupons for free bags of food to the shelter. We buy 5 and the shelter gets 10. It's a good deal.

omg have you seen the new Pedigree commercials? the dog is all happy in its home, then next shot, is the poor dog in the pound, watching as a potential adopter walks by his cage. i HATE that commercial! it makes me so sad

You'd do good not to buy bottled water. .05 cents isn't going to make up for the petroleum and energy that went into the bottle that will soon end up in a landfill.

I've switched Elmo's food to Pedigree now. It's not the best quality dog food I don't think but I'll support their cause!

Eh, stop buying bottled water and you won't have to even think about this stuff.

Yeah, I only buy water in glass bottles. Maybe not ideal, but it all gets recycled and it's better than plastic anyway.
