Sadly, it's not the first time I've heard of shit like this. I was watching the discovery channel and they had some sort of embedded documentary crew with a platoon of soldiers.. anyway, they were quietly making their way through a neighborhood and a dog was leashed up outside of the house and barking at them. One of the soldiers just shot the thing, it was so pitiful. It tried to pick itself up and howled, blood pouring out its mouth.. the owner ran out and was just in shock, tried to help the thing, but it collapsed and just slowly died. The guy was crying and shaking his head.
It was sick and cruel. At least some of the other soldiers were like "what the FUCK" and one tried to help it, but the rest laughed.
it was one of the saddest things I've witnessed. Needless cruelty.

its not messy, the SOB is holding a puppy and saying 'aw cute puppy' etc, then lobs it over a cliff. You hear the hapless beast yap over the edge and then an off screen voice saying 'that's mean' in a very sarky way.
Not very nice at all.
