Iran and Israel

I was just flipping channels and caught that super scary (and botoxed btw) Pat Robertson calling for the US Army to take out Iran because they've threatened to destroy Israel with their nuclear capability.

For months now I've heard whispered speculation in political circles that we would move from Iraq to Iran. What does everyone here think of that possibility?

Just thinking about it is terrifying*shudder* Who knows what Bush might do? And for the last freakin' time now..God, why is Pat Robertson not dead yet!! He is pure evil and must be 130 by now! Do something!!!! Send a lightning bolt his way at the least!

The US does not have the military capability to even hold onto Iraq, which is about 1/3 of Iran's size.

Secondly, Iran has a fully modernised and equipped army, airforce, etc with about triple the numbers.

Thirdly, Irans 'Revolutionary Guards' are fanatical and extremely well trained.. they're like the SAS of Iran.

The US would get its ass handed to it on a platter.
