I knew I shouldn't have watched that.
It's so much easier to be a hypocrite when your dinner comes precarved in plastic and styrofoam without a face.

well for me personally; reading Fast Food Nation stopped me dead in my tracks when it came to some of the crap I was eating. I think every American should read that book; expecially the obese. Maybe it would snap them to action and stop them from killing themselves with nasty clogging 'food'!

Omg I just watched the whole thing and felt ill. I don't eat a lot of meat thankfully but what I do eat, I know feel extremely bad. That was shocking.

i think for me it's not about peta or whatnot..it's about compassion...just general kindness for animals that don't have to needlessly suffer...i am totally vegetarian for this reason alone..but i know it's not a popular opinion and that's okay..

I am consistently glad my parents raised me vegetarian. I love food so much that I'm sure I wouldn't have the will power to stop if I'd developed a taste for it. I do wear leather and fur though. Not a ton, but I'm still not 100% animal friendly.

Diet For A New America is a good read too about the food we eat. It made me turn vegetarian for almost five years after reading it.

I need to read it again as a reminder.
