Celebrity Cosmetic Surgery: Thermage Complications

If you're trying to get rid of cellulite, Dr. Youn recommended Dermosonic: Body Procedures-The Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Centre-Dr. Anthony Youn-breast augmentation, botox, tummy tuck, abdominoplasty, cosmetic surgery

I'm looking at all these things too b/c I think lipo could make my backside worse instead of better.

Hmmm, there are complications with all treatments. I wouldn't be too disappointed to lose fat on my ass, lol!

The Dermosonic looks ok but it's only a temporary effect. I like that Thermage is allegedly long lasting.

I've tried Dermasonic, Endermologie & Mesotherapy. NONE of them did anything to minimize the cellulite on my legs. I don't have much cellulite, but I would still save your money! The best thing I've seen so far is Body Thermage, but I'm not going to fork over the cash just yet.

In the meantime, do a search on grapefruit & cellulite and read some stuff on it. I've been eating a ton of them lately and really sticking with my vitamins, time will tell if there really is a link to fixing cellulite from the inside out.

Can anyone describe what the pain from Thermage is like and how long it lasts?

Thermage - Non Surgical Face Lift
Pain and tingling: Pain is uncommon after the procedure is over. No pain medication is necessary. However, some people experience tingling, burning or soreness for a few days or weeks, especially along the jaw line
This is Thermage facial treatment info

The only time Thermage for the face hurts is when they hit a nerve. They did my jawline a year ago. I took a perc prior to the procedure, so it wasn't too bad. It would've hurt if I didn't take the pain med. The doc turned the power & the heat way up......he was impressed by my pain threshold. I never told them about the prep pill.

I had a procedure done today, on my face: Titan
In 2 months I'm going to have a little stomach lipo and hope to have the Titan guy zap my stomach afterwards.
This machine uses heat and infrared waves to tighten skin on any part of the body or face. It's a non-surgical procedure. Demi Moore used it on her knees. It's a series of sessions, done over three months.
Touch-ups are done every six months.

Traditional thermage was originally just for the face, but the company did months of testing and came up with Body Thermage. It's amazing, but very expensive. Hope that helps.
Thermage can be scary....I know of people who had the procedure and it melted away their facial fat, so they were either left with saggy areas or areas that had no fullness at all. I wouldn't want to risk that!

My friend is a nurse and she does 4 thermage body shape procedures a week. I asked her about facial fat melting. She's worked for her doctor for 3 yrs and has never seen that happen. The tip for the face is much smaller than the tip for the body. Sounds like the person performing the procedure on your friend used the wrong tip on her face.
