Janice Dickinson - scary stuff!!

I want to read ehr book, then I'll be able to decide whether I like her or not. I think her honesty is fantastic, but there is still some reason why I dont like her.

On Americas Next Top Model, she was just over the top rude. Honesty is one thing, but at times she was going out of her way to be the "controversial" judge. Oh and to the comment earlier that said that she hasn't done anything to her lips - i posted a link for an article which shows her after a recent dose of collagen (its a disaster!- she has also admitted to being addicted to ps including botox and collagen.

^I agree, sometimes shes just horrible. Youd think that if she had all these problems with her self esteem and her looks once upon a time, she'd be more compassionate.

She makes nasty comments about larger girls.

Shes another one who I think talks herself up so much that I cant see the beauty in her. Shes attractive but not as stunning as she makes out. Perfect?? I dont think so.
And what else makes her unattractive is that mouth of hers. She has little class.

It would probably depend on how old you are. She was popular in the 70's and 80's.

Although, really, she self preclaimed herself as such and it was in reference to her being able to "do it all".. it had nothing to do with being well known or well paid like Crawford, Turlington, etc.

I think she was very light - light eyes and hair; muh like the actual father; her actual father that she didnt meet until she was (i think - I read the book and can't remeber the exact age 11 or 13 anyway) 13 years old.

There were recent pictures on here of Janice and her daughter.

Janice is definitely a character. All the scary pics of her were caught in the
midst of one of her outrageous expressions. combine that with too much
plastic surgery and age: ouch. not a pretty sight.

she certainly does have a presence and an opinion she's not afraid to express.
that's what I like about her.

Didn't realize this thread was so old till I got done reading it...

Anyway, I read Janice's book awhile back. Thought it was obnoxious, trashy and entertaining--kinda like her. She loved talking about all the famous men she slept with, that's for sure. She even had Sylvester Stallone convinced he was her baby daddy for awhile. Damn those pesky DNA tests..

Not sure if she was really the first "supermodel" (there were many others who became famous around the same time--Gia, Christie Brinkley, et al) but she did have an exotic look of her own. It's no surprise she can't manage to grow old gracefully.
