Well considering it was his father who teased him about his appearance in the first place, that is rather an ironic statement to be made.

Want to know how Michael would look like without surgery? He still has vitiligo, cosmetic surgery and a natural skin disorder is not one in the same. Just take any photo of Michael from Off the Wall (1979-1981) make his skin as pale as it is today and there you go.

Bleaching yourself is not possible anyways

Look up Monobenzone...

Monobenzone is used to treat the loss of skin color (vitiligo). It works by permanently removing color from normal skin located around skin with vitiligo. Do not use this medication for other skin color conditions (e.g., freckling, age spots, etc.).
|
It's a melanin cell producing toxin which can turn a black person white

Did you even read my post about vitiligo and bleaching creams? I've already mentioned this, lol.
I'll quote myself. Products strong enough to make your skin snow white is not available at drug stores, and can only be prescribed to vitiligo patients, applied to make their complexion and bodies uniform. The medication monobenzylether of hydroquinone is used to do this and is very strong. People that bleach their skin to remove scars and minor discolorations use creams with only hydroquinone, which is reversible and not permanent. This is why when you buy bleaching creams at the store, it will always tell you that the pigmentation you wanted to get rid of may reappear.
I know what it is. I'm referring to the fact that getting this medicine is not easy, so for Michael to be able to get his hands on it is not possible. I think its obvious that Michael did not go from black to white overnight. People who bleach their skin for the intent on become 'white' do not spot.
I'm repeating myself.

I already mentioned that people who bleach their skin do not spot. If Michael Jackson bleached his skin like so many people refuse to believe other wise, he would of turned porcelain white overnight. Michael gradually became lighter due to cover his patches/blotches with brown make-up.

Actually, a cousin of mine had extensive vitiligo and decided to depigment, her depigmentation was VERY spotty it does not happen evenly, she also got darker at first, and it definitely did not happen over night, the entire process took about a year.

I am truly pleased to know that you personally know someone with vitiligo, opposed to the many people who don't know a damn thing about the skin disease (some even claim its not even real, and that Jackson just 'made it up') I've come a crossed who state that Michael simply does not have it yet they don't bother to even research about it and read about what it actually is in detail, in the first place. Baseless opinions.
This discussion might end up on a "agree to disagree" but thats fine with me.

I think both theories have some truth to them (Michael had vitiligo and decided to depigment, or Michael used monobenzone and caused chemical vitiligo). We'll never know though.

Well, his dermatologist (and make-up artist) have released various statements, so unless they're both lying, I'll say they're the closest source anyone can have. They both confirm that Michael was diagnosed with Vitiligo and Discoid Lupus in 1984, which sounds accurate to me. Many photos of him during that time show he is clearly covering his white blotches with make-up (sometimes not very successfully, lol) and and his cheeks begin to always seem to have a red tint to them. You’ll see it all over his face and even his neck.
Same with the lip color, it started as a way to conceal the discoloration on his lips, if you’ll notice the discoloration on the outline of the lips in the first picture, and some discoloration on his nose in others.
Michael’s makeup artist for over 20 years, Karen Faye comments:
“It started happening relatively early, he even was trying to hide it from me..he tried to hide it for quite awhile. He’d always try to cover it with makeup and even out his skin tone until it got so extensive. It’s all over his body. We were always trying to hide it and cover it for the longest time until he just had to tell Oprah and tell the world, ‘Listen I’m not trying to be white, I have a skin disease.’ In the beginning I tried to cover the light spots to match the darker part of his skin, but then it became so extensive that we had to go with the lighter part of his skin because his whole body was reacting…he’d have to be in complete full body makeup, every inch of his body. So it was easier to make the transition to him being to the lighter shade that he is.”
I'll have to go find the video on YouTube where she says this, it was in the "Living with Michael Jackson" Martin Bashir documentary. The extra footage version.

Whew, I never knew I'd get such a reaction just from what I posted.
Anyways, setting aside the specific gifts and training of individual artists, forensic anthropology has established scientific parameters for estimating how people age.
These are used, among other circumstances, to help find children who went missing at a young age. Computer programs are available which can be used to generate images representing the way children might look as older youths, or adults. Images of very young children can be used to estimate what they would look like as adults in their 30s and 40s.
Of course things like weight, how hair is styled, brows are plucked, etc. can make a significant difference in appearance, but the underlying facial features give sufficient indication so that the final results are frequently proven to be uncannily accurate (where comparison has been possible).
Whether this particular artist has used these, I can't say. But since this is a gossip site, not a peer-reviewed scientific publication, I hadn't anticipated hurting anyone's feelings by posting these speculative pics.

Michael has already had his nose done in the OTW era, and he has had an ENORMOUS amount of plastic surgery to date. Don't even try to deny it. His butchered face is made of plastic.
