The men all end up looking gay. Maybe because the hairstylists and wardrobe people dressing them are gay men.
Also, facial surgery seems to feminize male faces.

The men end up looking gay and the women end up looking either like porn stars or drag queens. At least they do men as well, unlike that even more evil Swan show. It was pretty pricelss though when they would look at themselves in the mirror, start sobbing hysterically and begin yelling, "I'm beautiful! I'M BEAUTIFUL! I'M BEAUTIFUL!"

The premise of this show was really bad, but The Swan was so much worse. I, too, prefer to watch the home version...

For me, they all have some nerves to go on National TV, accept they are fugly, have long and painful surgeries, and after all, maybe not having the final result they wanted.

If you are suicide, it doesnt depends on your physical appearance or your boobs, it is in your genes, either you are going to kill yourself or not.

These people deserve support.

Some of the men look the same, I guess all the makeup on the women makes a big difference.

The men all look like Ken dolls, and like that freaky plastic surgeon who does some of the work...Dr Perlman I think his name is. He's reeeeally odd looking! Lookit what I found on Wikipedia.com:

Why do they insist on giving them all those awful freaky veneers? Granted a lot of them had dreadful teeth before, but in the after shots most of them look like they are wearing dentures. Some of them don't even look as though they will be able to eat with their shiny new teeth.

And I agree with the comments that a good wash, a hair cut and some decent clothes would have been enough for a lot of them.

There's no show I hate more than this, it tells people that the only way to feel better about how you look is if you physically change it until you're comfortable with something that's not you anymore, but someone else. Blech.
