That is so true. I was watching Extreme Makeover just yesterday (rerun) and thought the exact same things as the mother of the person that was getting the makeover had the same kind of nose that this lady was getting rhinoplasty for. The surgeon was saying something like it was a medical record cuz he took of about a centimeter off her nose, that's a lot...

Some look better;some look worse. But why have an operation on your eyes to take the slant out of them? Not only does it seem like it would have to be painful, but it seems you would be chipping away at your identity.

I went to college with a very large asian population and they all wanted to look americanized. Most of the girls dyed their hair blond. My friends and i use to say that there were more blond asians in the school than blond caucasians. They also always exclusively dated anyone but, asian men. It was if they felt that asian males were beneath them.

^^ maybe it was some kinda rebellion? cuz Asian parents usually don't like their kids doing things to go against their ethnicity/tradition like colouring their hair and dating outside of their race.

Personally, I know quite a few Asian woman who wanted nothing to do with Asian men whatsoever. Some have even admitted they absolutely despised them. I'm astonished by that revelation. Why despise someone who looks like you?
