She was beautiful both ways.
This is one of the most amazing and subtle transformations ever - and all done in the 1940's!
Doctors just don't seem to have the same quality anymore - or is it that celebrities don't have the restraint?
A simple improvement - allegedly rhinoplasty & an early form of a chin implant - transformed her from a beauty into sexy starlet!

beauty is only skin deep (where's the scalpel?)
She was beautiful both ways.

I am not seeing a chin implant. I think she was beautiful to start with, and add in blond hair, and hair product, she looks very glamorous.
hmm im not seeing a chin implant and im not really seeing a nose job either. I think her transformation was all about the styling.
Alicia Silverstone: "I think that the film Clueless was very deep. I think it was deep in the way that it was very light. I think lightness has to come from a very deep place if it's true lightness."
Oh, yeah, she's had a nose job. that's pretty much common knowledge. maybe a few other things done too.
I saw a documentary once on early Hollywood PS and it was either
an old plastic surgeon or an old nurse to a plastic surgeon who had
done or been present at the whole process of making Norma Jean
Marilyn. It involved talks with a studiohead, a photographer and a,
what I assume would now be called, stylist and the medical team.
There was a chin implant, because the studio people called her a
"chinless wonder". Looking at her old photos I don't see anything
really bad, but maybe the photographer had some input there and
may have exaggerated some things from the point of making more
perfect photographs.

I don't see a chin implant - I see weightloss to get rid of the slight double chin. Basically she lost the puppyfat. The new nose is a given. Whatever she had done it was an improvement, unlike a lot of the PS today.
Why do people say "Grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive! If you really wanna get tough, grow a vagina! Those things take a pounding! -Betty White
Blonde hair totally changed her, gorgeous
shes amazing, i love her any way she looks
She also had her teeth worked on in 1948.
Then in 1950, Johnny Hyde (a boyfriend at the time and a top Hollywood agent) arranged for her to have her chin and nose perfected.
definitely a chin implant. it's small and subtle but definitely there.
she had an amazing surgeon because plastic surgery back then was practically unheard of, and was usually bad. i mean, nose jobs were pretty much crappy or really obvious until the 90s.

This is one celebrity whose PS has never bothered me.Gorgeous woman.
She was simply gorgeous, and yes, her PS didn't turn her into a stretched out, trout-mouthed looking fool.
