Jackie Chan's eyelid surgery
Years ago, I remembered reading an article that Jackie Chan had eyelid surgery. I found this before-and-after pic of Jackie Chan. And he had it done around the mid-70's.
Does he look noticeably different? Personally, I think just a tad. Nice hairstyle, Jackie.

How do they do that, create an eyelid fold? I imagine it must hurt.
Does the double eyelid thing come from age though perhaps???
I've done some research regarding eyelid surgery, but from my understanding, there are two types of eyelid surgery performed on people of Asian descent. The external incision method and the suture ligation method. The external incision method involves the removal of excess skin and fatty tissues to create a crease over the eye. The suture ligation method involves stitching the eyelid in several places to form a crease. I don't know about the pain factor, but I'm assuming there's quite a deal of pain. I hope I've explained it well enough.
It's possible. I had an aunt who had similar eyelids to Jackie Chan as a young woman, but when she aged, these eyelids came out of nowhere.

I know a Korean lady who had a similar surgery. She wanted "round eyes". Have to admit she looked awesome, before and after.
