Kate Beckinsale says that she would hate any of her fans to think that she may have had plastic surgery.

The Pearl Harbour star says that the connotations if going under the surgeons knife are all wrong to her.

She told the Sunday Express: "Nothing bothers me except the connotations of being a person who would have plastic surgery.

"That implies a kind of insecurity, shallowness and thoughtlessness that I don't feel applies to me very much."

"Cold Comfort Farm," her earliest big film, she had a little snout like
Posh Spice, and now her nose has been streamlined to perfection.

I find what she said to be insensitive; to say that people who have plastic surgery are insecure, and shallow. Some people have surgery and feel great about themselves afterwards. This comes from a woman who works out every waking minute, and used to have anorexia.

I agree..I like her as an actress..but she seems like an idiot..I cannot criticize someone because they have gotten plastic surgery..unless of course they look like joan rivers...but some people get one or two done..and they are still happy with themeselves..or they feel better about their body.

She's obviously taken the Victoria Beckham response when it comes to her surgery, and she has definitely had a boob job and more than likely some subtle nose refining. And yeah, she does come across as a total idiot in interviews.

I don't think she's had a nose job. I think her narrowed looking nose is thanks to facial contouring done with makeup. Lots of stars do it when on the red carpet which is why it's unfair to compare movie/magazine/red carpet stills to candids.

Either way though, she's definitely had her boobs done and I'd consider that plastic surgery... I'm surprised she would say this.

I had stretch marks WAY before I had a boob job, so I don't think it's necessarily evidence of one.
