In her time, Farrah Fawcett has been a woman of many faces.

And fortunately for the 59-year-old star, the latest one is an improvement on the last.

The original Charlie's Angel appears to have had a substantial bout of cosmetic surgery to correct the damage caused by previous operations.

She appeared on a U.S. chatshow with her hair back in windswept 1970s mode and a glowing complexion - even if her expression looked alittle fixed.

Two years ago, by contrast, she was captured on camera as she left a nightclub. Admittedly, she had not had the benefit of a make-up artist but her straggly hair accentuated ill-defined lips, pinched nose and puffy cheeks.

Mid to lower facelift

Cosmetic surgeon Dr Lucy Glancey said: 'Farrah looks to have had her upper and lower eyelids done and very definitely a mid to lower face-lift.

'She may well have had her neck tightened as well as Botox injected into the crow's feet area. All of these procedures are topping up on work carried out in previous procedures.

'Topping-up operations are a lot more complicated than work carried out for the first time due to the presence of scarring and tissues stuck together. This means that Farrah's latest surgery probably would have cost her around £20,000.

'Two years ago it looked as if her injected fillers had gone wrong but today she looks a lot better because fillers fade naturally over time, allowing her to avoid having any corrective surgery.'

Well, she looks better than she did, but why can't she just accept that she is getting older and it's not a bad thing?

As far as wrinkles go, her skin has been smoothened out. However, like Redford, her eyes are now different sizes and her face looks like it's pretty immobile. Yes, she looks "younger", but to me she still looks like her face is deformed.....
