Rue McClanahan has had some work done
Yahoo news has an article about her "embracing aging"
Choice quote: " Rue McClanahan recommends two forms of exercise to fight the effects of aging: weightlifting and frequent sex.
"It just depends on the availability of the material," the 72-year-old actress said Friday. "Dumbbells are easy to come by, but most of them are married."

Her face does look artificially tight in the recent photo. I've always thought she has a rather unfortunate looking nose job, too.

Rue looks completely different now.
Anyone remember when she was at some function and her whole face
was bright, bright red. She said that while she was washing her face, she
reached under the sink and accidentally grabbed and used a harsh
chemical bathroom cleaner instead of her face wash.
I always suspected that she had a bad reaction to a chemical peel.

Her face, in particular her nose, remind me of some of the reconstructive work that's seen on burn victims or someone with a traumatic injury to their face. What's bad is that she's neither a burn victim nor someone who's suffered a traumatic injury to their face.

I believe that her character on the Golden Showers was the basis for the "Samantha" character on Sex and the annoying Carrie Bradshaw show...imo

Oh, she shouldn't have messed w/ her face. Particularly her nose. When will people realize that smaller isn't always better, in regards to noses? I've seen so many people that have ruined their unique looks w/ generic nose jobs.

She's been married 6 times. Looks like she had the tip of her nose done early on. She looks much older than her 72 years.
