Violetta Villas is a Polish artist mostly known for her outstanding voice and singing abilities. She was close to making it big in USA in 1969 and because of that she had some plastic surgery done.

she's broke now (she was the richest singer in Poland in 70s and 80s) and that's the only outfit she has, the other she had were stolen or crumbled with age...

I like her voice a lot, actually. That b/w vid was ca-raaaazy...she sounded like a deranged blend of Yma Sumac and Shirley Bassey. And she looks like the love child of Meat Loaf, yes, but also Dolly Parton and Eartha Kitt. And Charo.

well, back in the 60s she was named "the Polish Yma Sumac" as she was able to hit the same vocal notes.

She was also one of Frank Sinatra lovers, and she won a singing competition with Barbra Streisand (not that it wasn't hard to beat Barbra).
