Checklist for women without substance in Hollywood after age 40:

After lifetime of avoiding it (well, except for Melanie Griffith, she started flaunting those puppies the day she got the boob job), agree to appear or pose nude to prove one is still desirable. Look pitiful.

Puff up upper lip to abnormal proportions, insert bizarre cheek implants, trim away eyelid skin for hollowed out look, botox face into shiny flat expressionlessness, and pump in fillers to complete the chipmunk look. Optional: mess with perfectly fine nose for no reason at all. All to prove one is still attractive. Look freakish.

Behave oddly in public to attract attention if all of the above is not sufficient. Look desperate.

Other than the one freaky picture of Daryl Hannah, all the other new pics of her don't make her look half as freaky as some of the other stars who've had ps. It's really not that bad, other than the main pic. But yeah, she's definitely had a lot done to her face.

It's too bad that she does not feel secure enough to age gracefully or at least get less aggressive surgical procedures. Botox and fillers and can work wonders on an aging face. Getting older is definitely not fun - especially in a society that wants to toss women aside once they reach a certain age. It seems especially hard in the entertainment industries.

How does anyone expect anyone in Hollywood to age gracefully? Personally I feel that both Meryl Streep and Diane Keaton had a little help as well, just didn't go overboard like the former sex kittens.

It makes me laugh when I read interviews from younger starlets (when they are in their 20s) saying that they would never get surgery. It's a real shock to look at your face aging. Especially in a place like Hollywood where everyone around is artificially enhanced.

It's kind of sad that Darryl has to butcher her face like that. She was never an attractive woman but she always seemed like a sporty type who would grow into her looks as she aged. Maybe she had just gotten injected and her filler hadn't settled into her face yet. I'd hate to think that her doctor wanted her face to look like a ball.
