I don't think there is a typical age when people get married. I got married when I was 21, my husband was 20 (no kids). My parents were the same as are my inlaws. My sisters and most friends on the other hand are 25+ and not married. The only thing I will say in favor of waiting is that you grow up a lot between 20 and 30 - so I don't know if it is necessarily 'good' to get married so young. Luckily my husband and I 'grew up' together and not apart!
