Not really. I suppose it depends on where you live. For instance, all of my friends from bigger cities tend to wait longer to get married. I was the first of all of my friends to get married and I was 31! My husband is from a small town in Nebraska and, those who didn't go to college, all married their high school sweethearts by the time they were 21-22. That's a gross generalization I'm sure but that's my experience.

I live in MS and my two best friends from grade school on got married at 19 and 21. But they're still with their husbands. One very happy and one happy most of the time! Several others our age are on second husbands now.

I was the last one of my group of friends to take the plunge (at 28). But remember guys I had been dating and/or seriously involved with around the time each of these two got married and can't imagine myself with either of them now at ALL...much less forever.

One thing I envy my friends who got married young is that their kids (most of them) are older and getting into the teenager years while they are still young enough to have the energy to deal with all that teenage bullshit. Their kids will probably be heading off to college about the time they turn 40 or not long after.

Taylor Hanson and wife expecting third child

Singer/songwriter Taylor Hanson, 23, and his wife Natalie are expecting their third child by the end of the summer. The new baby will join siblings Jordan Ezra, 3 1/2, and Penelope Anne, 15 months. The baby is rumored to be due by the end of the month.

The creepy thing is that apparently the girls are either best friends or cousins (I don't know, my Hanson-fan cousin told me and I can't remember quite clearly), and they used to be Hanson fans/stalkers... and look now, they're Hanson baby poppers. Oh, and when they first came out I used to think the middle one was a girl.

Maybe they're against birth-control and will just pop out babies until they have about 15-20.

I'm 23 and I love babies, but I'm definitely not all ready and grown-up to have one of my own.
