Can you imagine walter cronkite reporting on a celebutard??

Nope. Uncle Walter wouldn't have had any time for Paris Hilton.
This whole soap opera is news because Paris is making it news--by rebelling against serving her sentence, acting like she's above the law because she's a vapid socialite. And last but not last, bawling in the police car so everyone could see her and screaming for Mommy in the courtroom. Can you imagine Martha Stewart acting like this? I mean, I'm not a Martha fan, but at least she behaved with some dignity.

It's been a good day.

Do you think any of her friends or family will be reading this type of gossip board? I would love to be a fly on the wall and see their reactions. Better yet...do you think they will tell her about them?

I dont think its fair at all what theyre doing to her
Not bc she doesnt deserve punishment--she does--but she also deserves to be treated the way others would, and that would be to be given the option of buying her way into a nicer jail. EVERY other person is given that option under the same circumstances as Paris, yet this judge is dying to make an example out of her. not fair, and like her or not, we all know that those jail-b*tches want to kill her. All I am saying is treat her the same as everyone else

Poor paris. She is a victim in all this. Why should such a sweet, smart girl go to jail just because she broke the law...several times. I mean, such a rich person shouldn't have to follow rules. Duh!

Well umm...they can't turn back the clock and 1) take her ass to jail the 1st time she broke probation for the original offense (DUI); or 2) take her ass to jail the 2nd time she broke probation; or finally 3) take her ass to jail for being STUPID for not sticking to the rules. And to top it off, she didn't attend the meetings she was required to as a condition of her probation. Blatently rubbing this in the judge's face was not a good move.
I don't want to see the girl physically harmed or suffer permanent psychological damages...but something should serve as a wake up call so she can lead a normal adult life from this point forward. She has many years ahead of her if she can learn to be a decent human being at the very least.
