It wasn't the DUI that put her in jail, though. It was driving on a suspended license.

this isnt about a DUI. she got probation for her DUI. she violated the provisions of her probation twice. first time she wasnt punished, but she did it again. now shes being punished.

It would be nice if she learned from this and emerged from her experience as a better person, but I don't think she's smart enough to learn from her mistakes. She also has a huge sense of entitlement. "It's not right!" she hollered. What's not right? That even someone rich and pampered should pay for her mistakes? She's contemptible.

This has nothing to do with Paris but I know a guy who had like 3 DUIs and did not go to jail...
Everyone was telling him that this last one would be 'it', the one which would put him away- but no...
Everyone was shocked, I know I sure as hell was!

someone on another board suggested a better sentence for her might have consisted of something like a short time in jail, followed by community service and house arrest. then take her license away for a year...
that might make more of an impact on her than a straight 40 days in jail, but who knows..

She was not sentenced to jail for a DUI she was sentenced for violating her probation.
Also, I believe these pics were of her going back to Court this AM.
