I love her but a little foundation or concealor or something wouldn't hurt, especially when she knew she'd be getting her pic taken at Avenue Q in NY (or whatever it was, she went to a big show and these were taken outside). It's good to look presentable, doesn't mean you have to wear a ton of makeup.

A lot of Kelly's appeal is that she's still the same down-to-earth, Texas-bred girl she was before AI. She doesn't seem to buy into the 'celebrity' lifestyle. It doesn't surprise me a bit to see her out and about casual and without makeup. The girl has balls to do it - especially in an industry consumed by superficiality. She's obviously confident.

Interesting that many of the stars with marginal talent are the ones out getting effed up all the time, with their names always in the news. Yet people like Kelly Clarkson, Kristen Chenoweth, etc. who have amazing voices, don't have to compensate for anything. They just have incredible talent, period.

So she doesn't look her best, so what? Good on her from still continuing doing normal things, like going out bare-faced, and not giving a shit about the paparazzi. She's a singer, not a model.
