Just FYI for the people talking about budgets, profits and bankability:
The rule of thumb - due to advertising cost, ticket profit sharing, and backend payouts - on a movie's profit is this: You take the domestic gross reported and divide by 2. If that number is more than the reported cost to make than the movie made money ... if not, it was a failure.
Dukes of Hazzard:
Domestic Total Gross: $80,270,227
Production Budget: $50 million
So Hazzard was about a 10 mil loss, which is why the sequal used less know stars and went straight to video.

well movies who make over 100 million are usually considered profitable. otherwise, theres no way to make money. think about it. oceans 13 made 114 mill domestically. lets say total 200 million including internationally. the budget was a reported 100 million. are you saying then the film broke even? doesnt make sense.

You people aren't counting DVD sales, which are the main source of income for movies. It is generally accepted that ticket sales are negligible to what dvd sales and rentals will bring in terms of profit, and the "came out in cinemas" tag is more for prestige, and image. This explains why lots of low-budget straight-to-dvd films are made, be it sequels to cinema movies (like dukes of hazzard, american pie, cruel intentions, the skulls, carlito's way,...) or originals (everything steven seagal and van damme churn out these days).

She's fug. She is not attractive at all.
And she needs to go away, and not sing, and not make movies. And she can take her plastic sister and pervert dad with her, too.

Jessica Simpson in a new movie called "Major Movie Star." I had to laugh. She sings better than she acts.

Sometimes her face looks SO busted and sometimes it doesn't. It's weird. I think these are good pictures of her, maybe it's because she isn't trying so hard?

Our standards for "gorgeous" have been lowered. I mean, really, really, really, really lowered.

You think everyone who's blond is ugly. We get it.

^Not true. I like a lot of blondes, just not the ones who are average. Jesus. Back the f*ck off. You're tacky and rude.

You're the one who quoted twice about how ugly she was in one post. I was just saying that the world got what you were saying.

Yeah, because I think she's ugly. Not because she's blond.
Calling out posters is unnecessary. That's not what we're here for.
