I find it offensive, I mean don't get me wrong I havn't got a holy mouth but there's just something about that word its so dirty. My bf sometimes slips up and says it in front of me coz I know he uses it with his friends but I go mad at him!

I always hated that word because there is not one equally bad that is used for men. You can call them a prick, they kind of like it. So I use every word there is, but I find that one quite offensive.

I think this word is a lot like the N-word. Like white people with that word, boys shouldn't say cunt, but I like saying it because it has a different sort of power out of a woman's mouth. Like I have one, and it is my right to describe them anyway I want.

OK, I get your point but I don't understand why any self respecting woman would actually want to have her genitals referred to as something that sounds so disgusting. In fact I actually think less of girls that say it than men for that exact reason, women shouldn't want to be thought of in that cheap horrible way. Men on the other hand don't always understand these things so they just say it with no meaning.

There's a book about the word c*nt.... called C*nt - A Declaration of Indepenance, by Inga Muscio. She talks about how it wasn't always a bad word, and actually used to be a respectful one, but got twisted over time, and talks about stripping away the negative connotations and reclaiming the word, etc. Anyway, it's interesting.
